Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort in hotel settings. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a pristine environment by performing a variety of cleaning tasks, managing laundry, and providing exceptional customer service to clients. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all rooms, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and sanitation of bathrooms using appropriate cleaning detergents.
- Execute floor cleaning tasks such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and applying proper floor care techniques to maintain a polished appearance
- Manage laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures according to health standards to ensure a safe environment for residents and visitors
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or supplies with proper technique to prevent injury
- Maintain cleanliness of lobby or hallway areas, or entryways, ensuring a tidy exterior environment
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs and provide personalized housekeeping services while maintaining professionalism
Requirements
- Proven experience in Hotel / Motel or commercial cleaning with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and equipment use
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, carpet cleaning methods, floor cleaning techniques, and sanitation standards
- Ability to handle cleaning detergents safely and perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with proper safety measures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple rooms or areas
- Familiarity with Hotel / Motel housekeeping practices such as dusting, laundry management, and surface sanitation
- Physical stamina for prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and manual labor required for thorough cleaning tasks
