Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Senior Estimator role based in Dallas, TX. The Senior Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for various construction projects, analyzing project requirements, and collaborating with project managers and clients to develop accurate bids. The role requires evaluating labor, materials, and time requirements, reviewing project documents, and coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in cost estimation, budgeting, and bid preparation for construction projects
- Experience analyzing project specifications, blueprints, and related documents
- Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of sitework, utilities, and concrete construction methodologies
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
- Previous experience in a similar estimating role; preferably in construction-related projects
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with industry standards and relevant safety regulations
