Job Summary
We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Technical Support Manager. This position is directly responsible for leading the team on resolving customers’ technical issues, developing support strategies, managing knowledge bases, and collaborating with other departments to bridge customers’ needs with product development.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s or associate degree
- Must have some experience in a technical and / or services industry
- Management experience is a must
- Able to work in groups and be a team leader
- Standard business hours weekday schedule
Responsibilities
Manage the responsibilities of the tech support department
- Provide information and troubleshooting support to users by phone or email
- Analyzing and educating users to optimize their product
- Return emails and phone calls in a timely manner
- Follow up with customers to ensure their systems are functional
- Assist senior techs, managers, and engineering with product testing
- RMA- receive, document, and testing
- Address user tickets regarding equipment return, RMA, or troubleshooting
- Miscellaneous task assigned by a supervisor or manager
- Learn design work using iBwave
Skills & Abilities
- General knowledge in technology
- Minor knowledge in RF is desired
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to be clear and concise
- Professional, flexible, dependable and responsible
- Highly motivated individual who is resourceful and a quick learner
- Good organizational skills and proactiveness
- IT experience/skills is desired
- Familiar with RF test equipment.
