Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Full Time Certified Mechanic to join our dynamic automotive service team. In this role, you will perform comprehensive repairs and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and reliability. As a key member of our team, you will utilize your mechanical expertise to diagnose issues accurately, execute repairs efficiently, and deliver exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify mechanical and electronic issues.
- Perform repairs on various systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components.
- Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure ongoing vehicle health.
- Repair or replace mechanical systems using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively and ensure repairs meet manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety standards; document all work performed accurately for customer records.
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics software and schematics interpretation.
- Skilled in repairing transmissions, automotive suspension systems, alignments, brake systems, shocks & struts.
- Excellent mechanical knowledge complemented by experience working with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
