Overview:
The Journeyman I will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to steel erection, fabrication, and installation, including structural steel assembly, Pre-engineer Metal Building, Insulated wall panels, and Metal Roof, welding, and rigging. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong technical skills and a commitment to safety and quality to advance their career in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:
1.    Structural Steel Erection / Pre-Engineer Metal Buildings:
-    Assist with the layout, assembly, and installation of structural steel components, including beams, columns, and trusses, according to project plans and specifications.

- Assist with Insulated Metal Panels and Metal Roofs. 
-    Use hand and power tools, welding equipment, and rigging gear to position and secure steel elements in place, ensuring proper alignment and fit.

2.    Rigging and Hoisting:
-    Assist with rigging and hoisting operations to lift and position steel components using cranes, hoists, and rigging equipment, following proper safety procedures and guidelines.
-    Inspect rigging equipment and hardware for signs of wear or damage and report any issues to the supervisor for repair or replacement.

3.    Safety Compliance:
-    Adhere to all safety regulations, policies, and procedures, and promote a culture of safety awareness and compliance among crew members.
-    Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and safety training sessions, and report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately.

4.    Quality Assurance:
-    Perform visual inspections of work performed, checking for proper fit, alignment, and weld quality, and make adjustments or repairs as needed to meet quality standards.
-    Assist with quality control inspections and testing, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

6.    Team Collaboration:
-    Work collaboratively with other crew members, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure efficient and timely completion of construction tasks.
-    Communicate effectively with supervisors, foremen, and project managers to provide updates on work progress, issues, and concerns.
 

Qualifications:
-    High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
-    1 years of experience in structural steel erection, Welding, Pre-Engineer Metal Buildings, and Metal Roof. 
-    Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
-    Proficiency in reading construction plans, blueprints, and welding symbols.
-    Strong technical skills in steel fabrication, welding, and rigging.
-    Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to steel erection and construction.
-    Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.

Salary : $24 - $34
