Operations Support Specialist
Awesome opportunity to join a flourishing freight brokerage firm based in Schaumburg, Il. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of transportation operations experience, strong organizational skills, and ability to thrive under pressure.
Responsibilities:
-Track all shipments & report any issues immediately to proper sales rep
-Build shipments & schedule all appointments
-Update all customer portals/spreadsheets as shipments pick up & deliver
-Fill in as additional operations/customer support for sales rep as needed
-Provide excellent follow up and service to our customer and carrier allies
Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree desired (or equivalent experience)
-Strong desire to succeed in an operations/support role
-Excellent multitasker – Required
-Ability to handle stressful fast paced environment
-Excellent and quick follow up to appropriate parties
-Proficient in MS Office applications
-Highly organized
