Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Carrier Sales role located in Royal Oak, MI. or Schaumburg, IL. The Carrier Sales professional will be responsible for building relationships with carrier partners, negotiating rates, securing capacity, and ensuring timely shipment delivery. Key responsibilities include managing daily operations, providing exceptional customer service, resolving transportation challenges, and collaborating with teams to meet client needs.
Qualifications
- Proficient knowledge and experience in Freight Brokerage and Sales
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
- Experience in Account Management with the ability to maintain strong carrier relationships
- Ability to effectively negotiate and manage carrier operations
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is a plus
- Experience with logistics and transportation software is an advantage
