Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Process cash, credit, and mobile payments efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and retail math.
- Assist with food preparation, food handling, and basic kitchen tasks to support smooth restaurant operations.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through effective suggestive selling techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and ensuring food safety compliance.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve guests promptly while balancing cashier duties.
- Support food industry best practices by adhering to sanitation guidelines and proper food handling procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, quick service & fast food restaurant, or retail environment is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; training will be provided if needed.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that makes guests feel welcome.
- Ability to handle cash accurately, perform basic math calculations swiftly, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
