- Contributing to your team through hard work and great attitude, developing your crews skillset in our industry by providing mentorship and leadership to crew members.
- Operating tools and machinery such as skid loaders, tractors, dump trucks, mini excavators, tampers, backpack blowers etc.
- Working in the outdoors with whatever weather conditions Mother Nature throws at us.
- Comfortable with long summer hours outdoors Monday through Friday usually half days on Friday.
- 7 days/wk availability for winter snow removal
- A genuine, trustworthy, humble, leader, goal driven person that will contribute to our work environment in a positive way. Ask yourself: “Have I had quite a few issues working with others in the past?”
- Must be able to lift 80lbs without assistance and have full range of body motion.
- Class D drivers license.
- CDL Class A would be greatly preferred and beneficial
- Candidates must be able to pass a physical and drug test
- Have a clean criminal and driving record.
- 1 years of successful experience managing a crew of installers and job sites
- Ability to read construction duties and plan jobs
- Operate various machines including skid loaders, mini excavators, wheel loaders, tractors, dump trucks etc.
- GED required
- Bachelors or Associate degree preferred but not required

- Safely operate lawn equipment and tools that include but not limited to mowers, trimmers, backpack blowers rakes, shovels, etc.
- Maintain equipment and vehicles
- Spring and fall cleanups
- Lawn mowing
- Property maintenance
- No previous experience is necessary for this position and there is opportunity to grow within the company.

Duties And Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Leadership:
- Lead and direct landscape crews, assigning tasks and providing guidance to ensure efficient workflow.
- Train new crew members on proper techniques, safety procedures, and equipment operation.
- Motivate and inspire team members to achieve project goals and maintain high-quality standards.
- Project Management:
- Plan and schedule daily tasks, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with clients, project managers, and subcontractors to clarify project requirements and resolve any issues that arise.
- Monitor project progress, track expenses, and report to management as necessary.
- Partake in & oversee the installation of landscape elements such as plants, trees, shrubs, sod, mulch, irrigation systems, and hardscape features.
- Ensure that all installations are completed according to design plans, specifications, and industry best practices.
- Operate and maintain landscape equipment, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other tools.
- Inspect landscapes regularly to identify issues such as disease, pests, or irrigation problems, and take corrective action as needed.
- Monitor plant health and recommend appropriate treatments or replacements as necessary.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure that crew members use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safe work practices.
- Maintain compliance with environmental regulations, including proper disposal of waste materials and adherence to pesticide application guidelines.
- Conduct safety meetings and training sessions to promote a culture of safety awareness among crew members.
- Proven experience in landscaping, with a minimum of [X years] in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of landscape installation and maintenance techniques, plant identification, and horticultural practices.
- Project management skills.
- Proficiency in operating landscape equipment and tools, including but not limited to mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, and irrigation systems.
- Able to use basic tools safely and properly: shovel, grading rake, spade, wheelbarrow, sod roller, etc.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and effectively communicate with team members, clients, and subcontractors.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Must be insurable on company’s insurance policy.
- Class A driver’s license.
- Landscape industry certifications (e.g., Landscape Industry Certified Technician) are desirable but not required.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform strenuous physical tasks in various weather conditions.
- Stamina and endurance to work long hours, including weekends and holidays, as necessary.
- Good mobility and dexterity to maneuver equipment and navigate uneven terrain.
