What are the responsibilities and job description for the Small Engine Mechanic (Lawn & Turf Equipment) position at SUPREME EQUIPMENT LLC?
Supreme Equipment is seeking a skilled and motivated Small Engine Technician to join our service team. This position focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining outdoor power equipment, including commercial and residential mowers and handheld equipment. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with small engines and is comfortable working with modern EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) systems.
Diagnose, repair, and maintain small engines (Kawasaki, Briggs & Stratton, Kohler, etc.)
Service commercial and residential lawn equipment including zero-turn mowers, stand-on mowers, blowers, trimmers, and more
Troubleshoot and repair EFI systems and electrical components
Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, blade sharpening, belt replacements, tune-ups)
Accurately document work orders and communicate repair needs with the service team
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Ensure repairs are completed efficiently and meet company quality standards
Preferred (but not required):
Previous experience in a lawn equipment dealership or service shop
Manufacturer certifications (Kawasaki, Briggs, etc.) Or open to becoming certified through our company.
Pay starts at $22 up to $30 an hour depending on experience.
