Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and detail-oriented General Cleaner to perform comprehensive cleaning and basic maintenance services. The General Cleaner is responsible for ensuring that assigned residential or commercial properties are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and maintained according to company standards.
Applicants must have previous professional cleaning experience and be able to complete tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including bathtubs, showers, sinks, toilets, medicine cabinets, mirrors, fixtures, and surrounding surfaces.
- Thoroughly clean kitchen appliances, including the interior and exterior of stoves, ovens, refrigerators, and other applicable appliances.
- Clean cabinets, drawers, and shelving on the inside and outside.
- Wash and remove dirt, dust, stains, and marks from walls, baseboards, doors, doorframes, and trim.
- Clean windows, window tracks, windowsills, seals, blinds, and other surrounding areas.
- Clean and polish mirrors, glass doors, glass fixtures, and other glass surfaces.
- Sweep, vacuum, mop, scrub, and otherwise clean all flooring surfaces.
- Strip, apply, and maintain floor wax when required.
- Clean and sanitize entrances, exits, doorways, thresholds, and other high-traffic areas.
- Remove trash, debris, dust, cobwebs, and other unwanted materials from assigned areas.
- Perform minor repairs such as tightening loose fixtures, replacing light bulbs, patching small wall imperfections, and addressing basic maintenance issues as needed.
- Identify and report maintenance concerns or repair needs beyond minor fixes to the appropriate supervisor.
- Use cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment safely and according to manufacturer and company instructions.
- Inspect completed work to ensure all areas meet cleanliness and quality standards.
- Properly store and maintain cleaning products, supplies, and equipment.
- Follow all company safety procedures, cleaning protocols, and client-specific instructions.
- Perform additional cleaning and minor maintenance duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Previous professional cleaning experience is required.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Experience cleaning residential, commercial, rental, or move-in/move-out properties is strongly preferred.
- Experience applying and maintaining floor wax is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of minor repair and maintenance tasks is preferred.
- Knowledge of appropriate cleaning products, chemicals, equipment, and techniques.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within established timeframes.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.
- Ability to communicate respectfully with supervisors, coworkers, clients, and property representatives.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, reach, and climb stairs for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Ability to perform repetitive cleaning movements.
- Ability to safely use step stools or ladders when cleaning windows, walls, cabinets, and other elevated surfaces.
- Ability to perform light repair tasks using basic tools.
- Ability to work around cleaning chemicals, dust, and other common environmental conditions while using appropriate protective equipment.

Pay: $130.00 per day
