Job description:
We’re looking for a hands-on Warehouse Operations Manager/Supervisor to lead our small but mighty team in Ridgefield, NJ. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, start-up–style environment — someone who’s just as comfortable rolling up their sleeves on the floor as they are analyzing reports and improving processes. You’ll oversee all daily warehouse activities — from shipping and receiving to inventory accuracy and order fulfillment — while helping build a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring timely and accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- Work alongside your team — hiring, training, motivating, and setting clear expectations for performance and safety.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and boost efficiency.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant warehouse environment (OSHA standards included).
- Track KPIs, monitor inventory accuracy, and report results to leadership.
- Partner with logistics, procurement, and customer service teams to meet client expectations.
- Oversee warehouse equipment upkeep and coordinate repairs or maintenance.
- Champion a positive, team-first culture where everyone takes ownership and supports one another.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of warehouse or logistics management experience in a fast-paced setting.
- A leadership style that’s approachable, hands-on, and team-oriented.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or inventory software.
- The ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt quickly as priorities shift.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
