SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION:
- Part-time or full-time
- Hours worked must be between Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5pm

$20-24 / hour with mileage reimbursement (if applicable)

SOME IMPORTANT QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or GED/equivalent

Ability to pass DHS background check

Driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle. Must possess and maintain a clean driving record.
MORE ON THE ROLE:
As a Maintenance Assistant you’ll work both independently and, on a team, to provide safe and supportive housing to individuals who have experienced long-term homelessness or living with serious and persistent mental illness (SPMI). You will work at a variety of SLS properties in St. Paul and Minneapolis to complete work-orders, apartment turns, landscaping, etc. You'll interact with team members and clients as you work within their offices and living spaces to maintain a well-kept property. You will be a part of weekly team meetings to connect and share thoughts and idea on how we can best accomplish our goals, and you’ll have one-on-one meetings with your manager to further support you, develop your skills, problem solve, and further learn aspects of the role.
This role is a great way to expand your mechanical skills and gain experience in property maintenance. You’ll join a growing team of energetic and driven individuals committed to improving the quality of life in our community.
