What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Mental Health DSP / Direct Support Professional position at Supportive Living Solutions?

SCHEDULE, COMPENSATION AND LOCATION:
- Part-Time or Full-Time (Must have at least every other weekend availability)
- Hourly rate starting at $20 , dependent on experience *Opportunities for growth and pay increases beginning at 6 months of employment!
- Location: Minneapolis
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least one year of full-time or two years of part-time work experience in human services with increasing job responsibilities
- Must pass DHS background check
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- Understanding of basic computer and email functionality
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
MORE ON THE ROLE:
You'll be supporting people living with a variety of mental health needs. You will oversee the safety and well-being of our clients, providing services such as:
- Medication administration
- Assistance with problem solving/additional support
- Documentation of happenings throughout your shift
- Completing light cleaning tasks within office area
You will work as a team with other Mental Health DSPs, Housekeepers/Home Health Aides, Program Leaders, and Nurses to provide a safe living environment for all clients. Our clients do not need assistance with personal cares.
