Direct Support Professional – Residential Group Home (3rd Shift Needed)
SLS has opened a new West Side Erie group home, and we are looking for compassionate team members who want to make a real difference every day! We are currently hiring for 3rd shift positions.
Join us as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and/or autism in a residential setting. DSPs help residents live their best lives — safely, independently, and confidently — while providing meaningful support and care.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist with daily living, meals, hygiene, and medication
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Support personal goals and encourage independence
- Keep residents safe and advocate for their rights
What We’re Looking For:
- 18 with a valid driver’s license
- High School diploma or GED
- Compassionate, patient, and team-oriented
- Experience with developmental disabilities or autism a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Stand, walk, climb stairs, squat, bend
- Lift 50 lbs and assist residents as needed
