Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Monitor and observe patients’ conditions
- Support clients with specialized needs individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions and assist with meal planning and preparation.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing personal spaces.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care plans are followed accurately.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to foster a positive living environment for clients.
Requirements
- Prior experience in home health care, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or long-term care environments is highly preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges is desirable.
- Strong communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Reliable transportation, vehicle insurance, and valid driver’s license for travel between locations and with clients.
