Role Description
The Program Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Charlotte, NC. The individual will oversee program operations, ensuring alignment with SHC’s mission to end homelessness through effective housing support and services. Key responsibilities include program planning, implementation, and evaluation, coordinating with partners and stakeholders, supporting staff development, managing budgets and resources, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The Program Manager will also build relationships with community partners and represent SHC in a variety of initiatives aimed at improving housing outcomes and addressing systemic challenges.
Qualifications
- Proven program management skills, including planning, implementation, and monitoring of organizational objectives
- Experience in team leadership, staff development, and stakeholder collaboration
- Knowledge in budget management, resource allocation, and compliance with regulatory standards
- Understanding of issues related to homelessness, affordable housing, and supportive services
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal communication abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field preferred
- Experience in nonprofit or housing services is a plus
