Supportive Concepts for Families, Inc, an Affiliate of Apis Services, is seeking to hire Full -Time Direct Support Professional to provide direct support to individuals within the Pittsburgh area. This position will assist individuals in our Residential IDD Program under the 6400 Regulatory Compliance.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age


• Valid Driver’s License 


• Some previous experience working directly with people with developmental disabilities


• Excellent communication skills, documentation accuracy, and organizational skills.


• Proficiency in English communication, both verbal and written, with proper use of grammar and vocabulary, is required.

Additional Requirements: The candidate must pass a Criminal Record History Clearance, & FBI as well as possess a valid PA Driver's License. The candidate must pass a Physical & Drug Screening & possess the ability to attend and successfully complete all sponsored training.

Essential Elements of the Position:

• Assist with all daily activities within the CLA but not limited to meal preparation, shopping, leisure activities, and consumer outcomes.


• Assist with community home licensing annually and home activities as prescribed in operation regulations.


• Work with the Assistant Program Coordinator to ensure that all needs of the individuals are met according to the Individual Service Plan.


• Responsible for the safety and well-being of all the individuals residing in the home.
