This is an on-site part-time position for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner based in Fort Stockton, TX. The role involves providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, developing individualized patient care plans, and prescribing appropriate treatments. Responsibilities include collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, maintaining accurate patient records, and ensuring high-quality patient care. The candidate will work closely with facility staff to ensure a seamless integration of behavioral health services into patients' care plans.

• Proficiency in conducting psychiatric evaluations, developing care plans, and managing treatment plans
• Ability to prescribe medication within the scope of practice and monitor their effectiveness
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Knowledge of behavioral health best practices and adherence to medical and ethical standards
• Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) certification and valid licensure to practice in Texas
• Experience in long-term care, assisted living, or memory care settings is a plus
