Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor residents’ health by taking vital signs, observing patient conditions, and reporting changes promptly
- Administer medication following prescribed care plans and HIPAA confidentiality standards
- Support residents during meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition
- Operate equipment such as Hoyer lifts and assist with heavy lifting to ensure safe transfers and mobility
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties and adherence to infection control protocols
- Document care activities accurately in resident records and update care plans regularly
- Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being
- Follow all safety procedures including CPR and First Aid when necessary
- Collaborate with nursing staff, social workers, and family members to deliver comprehensive care
Skills
- Proven experience in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments
- Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, autism support, and hospice care practices
- Strong patient observation skills with the ability to monitor vital signs and recognize changes in condition
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident’s
transfer devices - Excellent communication skills for working effectively with residents, families, and team members
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of patient information
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
- Basic cooking skills for meal preparation aligned with dietary needs
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and safety standards
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays as needed

- Saturday: 3:30 PM – 9:30 PM
- Sunday: Off
Week 2 (40 Hours)
- Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Friday: 1:30 PM – 9:30 PM
- Saturday & Sunday: Off
Schedule repeats bi-weekly.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
