Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Staff to join our team in providing exceptional support and care to individuals with diverse needs. Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor residents’ health by taking vital signs, observing patient conditions, and reporting changes promptly
• Administer medication following prescribed care plans and HIPAA confidentiality standards
• Support residents during meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition
• Operate equipment such as Hoyer lifts and assist with heavy lifting to ensure safe transfers and mobility
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties and adherence to infection control protocols
• Document care activities accurately in resident records and update care plans regularly
• Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being
• Follow all safety procedures including CPR and First Aid when necessary
• Collaborate with nursing staff, social workers, and family members to deliver comprehensive care

Skills

• Proven experience in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments
• Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, autism support, and hospice care practices
• Strong patient observation skills with the ability to monitor vital signs and recognize changes in condition
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident’s transfer devices
• Excellent communication skills for working effectively with residents, families, and team members
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of patient information
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
• Basic cooking skills for meal preparation aligned with dietary needs
• Knowledge of medication administration protocols and safety standards
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays as needed

Week 1 (46 Hours)

• Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Saturday: 3:30 PM – 9:30 PM
• Sunday: Off

Week 2 (40 Hours)

• Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Friday: 1:30 PM – 9:30 PM
• Saturday & Sunday: Off

Schedule repeats bi-weekly.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
