Overview
We are seeking an energetic and passionate Educational Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting educational programming, working closely with staff, students, and families to ensure a nurturing and effective learning environment. Your expertise will help shape the educational experiences that empower children to reach their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement educational strategies aligned with early childhood development best practices
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to enhance curriculum quality and instructional methods
- Conduct program and classroom assessments (ex. Environmental Rating Scales or Classroom Assessment Scoring System)
- Monitor compliance with and coordinate implementation of all licensing regulations (both Title 5 and Title 22) pertaining to the daily operational needs of the Center's children, families, staff and students
- Assist in the administration of educational programs and activities that meet regulatory standards
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational trends and policies
- Contribute to program evaluation efforts by collecting data and providing insights for continuous improvement
- Perform related duties as assigned
Education & Experience
- BA/BS Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Two (2) years of experience in a child development program
- Child Development Site Supervisor Permit issued by the State of California
- Strong background in education administration and program management
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds
- Experience working with young learners or in early childhood education environments is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for engaging with students, staff, and families
- Familiarity with early childhood development principles and educational standards
- Current California Driver's License and access to an automobile with minimum liability insurance for use on the job
- Must clear a criminal background check

Pay: $27.12 - $32.66 per hour
