Job Description
As a Residential Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of residents in their homes. This involves conducting monthly assessments, maintaining open communication with agency management, and completing necessary training. You will also be responsible for documenting residential client assessments, communicating with support teams, and assisting the Regional Director in responding to reviews and audits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and document monthly head-to-toe assessments of each residential client in their home.
- Maintain communication with agency management and the client's support team.
- Accountability and documentation for Residential RN functions each month.
- Complete Residential RN Orientation Training and ongoing training as required by the Department of Mental Health (DMH).
- Complete Abnormal Involuntary Movement Scale (AIMS) every 3 to 6 months for clients at risk of developing tardive dyskinesia (TD). If assigned, complete Health Risk Screening Tool (HRST) duties, including attending Individual Support Plan meetings for residential clients.
- Assist Regional Director in responding to reviews and audits as required by contractual guidelines.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse in the State of Missouri.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
