Position Summary
The Family-Centered Treatment (FCT) Supervisor provides clinical and administrative oversight to a team of FCT practitioners. This role is responsible for ensuring adherence to the FCT model while supporting staff development and overall program quality. This position involves clinical supervision, quality assurance, staff training, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to promote family engagement, safety, and long-term stability.
This position is open to clinicians who are associate-level or fully licensed and includes opportunities for advancement and clinical supervision toward full licensure.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide weekly clinical and administrative supervision to FCT practitioners.
- Support practitioners in delivering services that align with the FCT model and its core components.
- Ensure fidelity to the FCT model through regular case reviews, documentation audits, and adherence to clinical protocols.
- Collaborate with FCT consultants to support staff training, certification, and quality assurance.
- Support practitioners in crisis management and high-risk case consultations.
- Conduct audits of clinical documentation and monitor performance metrics.
- Facilitate onboarding and training for new FCT staff and ongoing training for current staff
- Assist in data collection and reporting for funding, licensing, and accreditation purposes.
- Carry a limited caseload if needed to support clinical coverage or maintain model fidelity.
Qualifications
Required:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related human services field.
- Active licensure in North Carolina , either associate-level (e.g., LCSWA, LPCA, LMFTA) or fully licensed (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT).
- At least two (2) years of clinical experience working with youth and families in community-based or in-home settings.
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and systemic family therapy.
- Ability to provide leadership, guidance, and clinical oversight in a supportive and collaborative manner.
- Familiarity with or certification in the Family-Centered Treatment model (or willingness to complete FCT Supervisor certification).
Preferred:
- Supervisory or leadership experience in a behavioral health setting.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
Working Conditions
- Hybrid work environment (office, community, and remote settings). Typically 3-4 days per week required in office.
- Flexible schedule with some evening availability required.
- Travel within assigned service region as needed.
