Role Description
This full-time on-site role, based in Vancouver, WA, requires a passionate and dedicated Lead Preschool Teacher. The Lead Preschool Teacher will design and implement lesson plans and developmentally appropriate curricula for preschool-aged children. Responsibilities include fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment, supporting children's social, emotional, and cognitive development, and preparing them for kindergarten. Collaboration with staff, families, and administrators to ensure the highest level of care and education is also a critical aspect of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and designing age-appropriate Curriculum Development
- Strong understanding and knowledge of Early Childhood Education principles and best practices
- Effective Communication skills to collaborate with families, children, and colleagues
- Experience supporting children in their transition to Kindergarten with tailored activities and strategies
- Demonstrated ability to create a nurturing and inclusive environment for diverse learners
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field
- State certification or eligibility to meet local preschool teaching licensure requirements
