Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL-A Driver to join our team. This role involves operating both semi and straight trucks for local deliveries. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable interacting with customers while representing the company in a professional manner.
This position typically works Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with overtime and schedule flexibility required, including occasional driving at nights.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate both semi-trucks (50–75% of the time) and straight trucks for local deliveries
- Transition from primarily semi-truck driving into ownership of a dedicated straight truck route
- Safely operate equipment in compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies
- Perform pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections
- Load and unload freight using a hand truck and/or pallet jack as needed
- Accurately complete delivery documentation, logs, and electronic records
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding schedules, delays, and issues
- Maintain cleanliness and perform basic upkeep of assigned vehicles
- Follow all federal, state, and local transportation laws
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A license
- Clean driving record and ability to meet all DOT requirements
- Experience operating both semi-trucks and straight trucks
- Ability to safely use material handling equipment (hand truck, pallet jack)
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic computer and electronic logging skills

Salary : $26 - $30
