Local Truck - Jackson, WI

 We are seeking a dependable Local Straight Truck Driver to join our team. This role primarily involves operating a straight truck for local deliveries, with the flexibility to operate a semi-truck as needed. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable, and comfortable interacting with customers while representing the company in a professional manner. Core hours of work are M-F, 6am-2pm with overtime as needed.

• Operate a straight truck for daily local pickup and delivery routes.
• Use of hand truck and/or pallet jack when necessary for unloading product.
• Safely and efficiently operate a semi-truck when required (typically to cover absences, overflow loads, or special assignments).
• Perform pre-trip, during the trip, and post-trip inspections according to DOT and company standards.
• Ensure accurate completion of delivery paperwork, logs, and electronic documentation.
• Communicate effectively with customers, and team members regarding delivery status, delays, or issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of assigned vehicles.
• Follow all federal, state, and local transportation laws as well as company policies.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and safely.  The requirements and qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Clean driving record and ability to meet all DOT requirements.
• Experience driving a straight truck and semi-truck.
• Strong time management and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic computer skills.
