The North American Logistics Specialist will provide leading and managed support for day-to-day processes for clients, carriers and functionality within the TM System. This will include working closely with a team of individuals to ensure best practices are being implemented and maintained for continued success throughout the organization. The position will be responsible for supporting and defining strategic approach and execution to influence those relationships. This position will also be tasked with specific projects to help gain efficiencies within the organization or client satisfaction.

The North American Logistics Specialist will provide leading and managed support for day-to-day processes for clients, carriers and functionality within the TM System. The position will be responsible for supporting and defining strategic approach and execution to influence those relationships. This position will also be tasked with specific projects to help gain efficiencies within the organization or client satisfaction.
Some of the key responsibilities for this position include:
- Providing overall support the the North American Operational Team
- Manage daily execution (rate, tender, track and trace of customers shipments for all modes.
- Communicate and operate day-to-day functions effectively to build strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, carriers, shippers, receivers, etc., and help support carrier development opportunities and projects.
- Source prospective carriers using various web portals and web tools.
- Spot quoting Drayage, FTL, LTL, and Project Cargo shipment transactional opportunities and executing accepted loads.
You are a great fit for this role if you:
- Have at least 1-3 years of 3PL/freight broker, transportation and/or logistics experience. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
- Experience using LTL and FTL carriers.
- Are flexible and adaptable to ever-changing priorities, and have the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Possess excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills and are able to interact effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Have exceptional critical thinking and project planning skills, as well as the ability to find and recommend creative solutions to common problems.
