The NHA will provide strategic and operational leadership across all facility departments, ensuring exceptional patient care, regulatory compliance, and a positive culture for both residents and staff. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee all aspects of facility operations including clinical, financial, and administrative functions
- Ensure full compliance with state and federal regulations (CDPHE, CMS)
- Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and frontline staff
- Manage budgets, census development, and payer mix optimization
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with residents, families, and the local community
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and survey readiness
- Partner with clinical leadership to ensure resident care standards are met or exceeded
QUALIFICATIONS
- Active Colorado NHA license (or ability to obtain reciprocity) — required
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a licensed Nursing Home Administrator
- Strong working knowledge of CMS regulations, PDPM, and state survey process
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and drive census growth
- Experience in rural or community-based SNF settings a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred
