Currently, we’re hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school in Glendale, Arizona. As a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist with SHC, you'll be supported by our Schools Center of Excellence, a dedicated team of recruiters and employment professionals that understand schools and your unique needs as an SLP.
Speech-Language Pathologist Contract Details:
- $1854 - $2014 per week
- Speech Language Pathologist needed for the 2023-24 school year to start ASAP for 40 hours a week.
- The SLP-CCC will be assigned campuses based on preference and strength of candidate.
- SLP-CCC may be assigned to more than 1 campus with a caseload of 60-65 students.
- District will provide materials and laptop.
- Could be working with students who have difficulty swallowing, or students with communication disorders
- SLP will work with students to assess, screen, evaluate, and share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team
- SLP will develop and implement IEPs for students while reviewing goals and objectives to make recommendations for appropriate care plans
- Will be expected to establish a positive learning environment while providing response to intervention for the needs of each student

Requirements:
- Master’s degree in education or equivalent experience with a bachelor’s degree
- Active AZ SLP License, ADE Certification, ASHA Certification.
- Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- SLP-CCC preferred to have 3 years of experience preferably with pediatric or school experience
- American Heart Association BLS
- School Experience is Preferred but not required
