Supplemental Health Care is a nationally recognized healthcare staffing provider partnering with a general medical and surgical hospital located in Hartford, CT, for an Operating Room Travel Registered Nurse. - Estimated hourly pay for travelers- $80-$90 / hr

Operating Room Registered Nurse Job Duties / Requirements:Help plan, carry out and assess treatment for patients undergoing surgeryStrong with setting up sterile station in preparation for surgery and helping surgical team with gloves and gowns.Properly handing instruments to surgeon in numerous operationsNurse can develop a patient care plan of care by reviewing preoperative assessments with patientStrong with support to all members of the surgical team during the operationHighly involved with advocating patient safety and patient careComfortable managing other duties in OR if needed

Requirements:

BLS / CPR certification

ACLS

Minimum 1 year of RN experience in OR settings

Prior Acute RN experience needed
