What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shop Laborer / Parts Driver position at Superstition Crushing LLC?
Established in 1984, Superstition Crushing is now one of the largest portable aggregate companies in Arizona. We are currently seeking out competent individuals for an entry level position at our main mechanic shop to assist with day to day maintenance needs, and parts delivery. This is a great position for someone looking to start or restart their employment track.
Position Requirements:
Must be minimum age of 21 and have a clean 36 month MVR
Must have reliable transportation
Pre-employment drug screening
Position is an outdoor environment, please be aware
Saturday Availability ocassionally required
Positive attitude
Position Responsibilities:
Overall cleanliness and appearance of mechanic shop and surrounding grounds
Sweep and clean shop floors, bathroom, lunch, and office areas as needed
When necessary, load and deliver parts to our jobsites in a company parts truck
Perform tasks as directed by shop foreman and other supervisors
Assist mechanics with maintenance of equipment through greasing, fueling, and minor repairs
Willingness to learn use and operate equipment safely and efficiently
Ability to grasp new concepts and tasks as taught
Demonstrate compliance with safety plan as set forth by Safety Department
Adequately inspect equipment daily for defects or maintenance needs
Must be able to handle the heat of Arizona summers

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
