Job Summary

Supermicro is seeking a Sr. Product Manager to manage Network Adapter Product Line. The product manager is responsible for the life cycle, strategy, and development of Network Adapter Products such as Ethernet, InfiniBand, Fibre Channel, DPU, and SuperNIC which involves market analysis, roadmap development, and collaborating with engineering, sales, and marketing teams to ensure successful product launches and market fit. Candidate needs strong technical acumen in networking concepts, strategic thinking, user insight, and excellent communication skills to drive product success across various segments like cloud, enterprise, and data centers.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

  • Research market trends, customer needs, demand drivers, and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities and define value propositions.
  • Develop and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing features and functionalities to align with the company's overall business strategy and objectives.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from conception and development to launch and ongoing support, for the assigned product portfolio.
  • Work closely with engineering, operations, sales, marketing, and other internal teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of product strategies.
  • Provide technical and commercial support to internal teams and external customers, creating marketing materials, technical documentation, and supporting sales enablement efforts.
  • Design and implement go-to-market strategies, including channel strategy and partnerships, to drive product adoption and growth.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field is often preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and technologies, including experience with specific network systems, software upgrades, and enterprise networking is beneficial.
  • Proven experience in product management, driving strategy, roadmaps, and product development.
  • Ability to deeply understand and anticipate user needs and translate them into innovative product designs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for driving cross-department coordination and influencing outcomes across diverse teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking abilities to identify market opportunities and develop long-term product visions.

Salary Range

$140,000 - $180,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
