We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Technician / CNC Operator-Programmer to safely and accurately operate computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinery to produce high-quality precision parts. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Experienced CNC operators are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided for the operation of a manual lathe, which will be used intermittently.
The ideal candidate is adaptable, able to multitask in a fast-paced machine shop environment, and comfortable moving between machines and responsibilities as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, prepare, and operate CNC machines for drilling, tapping, turning, and other machining operations
- Interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and work instructions to produce precision parts
- Translate instructions into machine commands (G-code knowledge preferred)
- Load raw materials and parts into machines for production runs
- Perform test runs and make adjustments to ensure parts meet specifications
- Monitor machine operations and make real-time adjustments as needed
- Inspect and measure finished parts using precision tools such as micrometers and dial calipers (tolerances up to /- .0005)
- Troubleshoot equipment issues, malfunctions, and production interruptions
- Perform routine operator-level maintenance and keep machines in proper working condition
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all company safety guidelines and procedures at all times
- Work collaboratively with team members and management to meet production goals
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Prior experience as a CNC Operator required
- Ability to operate CNC machinery and precision measurement tools
- Manual lathe experience (or willingness to train)
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints
- Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills
- High attention to detail and quality-driven mindset
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced machine shop environment

Schedule / Hours
- Full-Time (40 hours per week)
