Directional Drill Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Driller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating drilling equipment and machinery to perform excavation and drilling tasks efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations and the ability to work in various environments, ensuring that all drilling activities are conducted in compliance with safety regulations.

Duties

• Operate drilling equipment, including backhoes, loaders, and dump trucks, to perform excavation tasks.
• Conduct grading operations to prepare sites for construction or other projects.
• Perform routine maintenance on drilling machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to plan and execute drilling operations effectively.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations during all drilling activities.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including equipment usage and site conditions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in operating drilling equipment, including graders, backhoes, and bulldozers.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain machinery effectively.
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations; a valid commercial driver's license is preferred.
• Ability to dig, pave, and perform various excavation tasks as required by project specifications.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on-site.
