What You’ll Do:
As the Director of Managed Services, Infrastructure & Security, you’ll lead and evolve our Infrastructure, Network Operations, and Help Desk teams. You’ll drive operational maturity, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and help us scale our capabilities to meet growing client demand.
You'll be hands-on with both leadership and strategic execution—guiding a technical team through ongoing transformation and building new ways of working.
Key responsibilities include:
- Transform the team: Lead maturity initiatives across processes, tools, and service delivery to elevate team performance and client experience.
- Be a builder: Architect and implement new processes, workflows, and best practices to support a growing business.
- Support employees through change: Provide coaching, clarity, and care as the organization evolves—building a resilient and adaptable team culture.
- Lead by example: Manage, develop, and mentor team members (~15 ), fostering both technical growth and professional capability.
- Drive results: Oversee solution design, engineering and service delivery, ensuring project success, profitability, and high client satisfaction.
- Partner cross-functionally: Work closely with Account Management and the CEO to align team efforts with strategic goals, driving improvements in employee and client satisfaction.

Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven transformational leadership experience—leading organizations through significant growth, change, and process maturity improvements.
- Experience leading technical teams in mid-sized SMB environments (100–200 employees)—understanding the dynamics, opportunities, and constraints unique to this space.
- A strong “builder” mindset—comfortable building team capabilities, processes, and culture from the ground up in fast-evolving organizations.
- 10–15 years of IT experience, including 5–7 years managing technical teams of 10 (ideally 15 employees) within a managed service provider or consulting environment.
- Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, security, and cloud technologies including:
· Fundamental understanding of server technologies
· Active Directory design, management, and maintenance
· Microsoft Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, and SharePoint
· DNS, DHCP, and other server-side networking technologies
· VMWare, Hyper-V, and other virtualization technologies
· Storage solutions: SAN, NAS, Shared storage, ISCSI, Fiber Channel
· Security Solutions to support compliance such as ATP, MDR, MFA, SEIM, Phishing tools, etc.
· Fundamental understanding of firewalls, switches, and other networking technologies
· Cisco Meraki, SonicWALL, or other business-grade vendor solutions
· Disaster Recovery solutions and backup technologies
· Office365, Azure and other Cloud solutions
· Mobile operating systems (IOS, Android, Windows) Experience
