PER DIEM: $45.00 per day plus Lodging
HOURS: Expected shifts will be 10‐hour days starting at 7:00 AM
SCHEDULE: Expected work will be Monday–Friday; approximately 40–50 hours/week

Mechanical Equipment Installation Foreman - Role Description
Position Summary
The Equipment Installation Foreman leads the installation and commissioning of water and wastewater treatment equipment, ensuring systems are installed safely, correctly, and in accordance with project specifications, manufacturer requirements, and quality standards. This role drives field execution, coordinates across trades, and ensures operational readiness of critical treatment processes.
Key Responsibilities
Field Leadership
- Supervise and direct installation crews performing equipment setting, alignment, and assembly
- Plan and sequence daily work to meet project milestones
- Set clear expectations for safety, quality, and productivity
Safety Management
- Enforce jobsite safety policies and procedures
- Conduct daily JHAs/toolbox talks specific to rigging, lifting, and confined spaces
- Identify and mitigate hazards, especially during equipment setting and startup
Equipment Installation & Quality
- Oversee installation of water/wastewater equipment (e.g., pumps, blowers, clarifiers, filters, process skids)
- Verify proper layout, anchoring, leveling, and alignment of equipment
- Ensure compliance with drawings, submittals, and manufacturer installation requirements
- Coordinate inspections, startup support, and punch list completion
Production & Schedule
- Track installation progress and adjust work plans to maintain schedule
- Coordinate rigging, crane activities, and equipment deliveries
- Work closely with pipe, mechanical, electrical, and controls teams to maintain workflow
Commissioning Support
- Assist with system startup and testing
- Coordinate with vendors and engineers during commissioning activities
- Ensure deficiencies are corrected prior to turnover
Crew Development
- Train and mentor team members on installation best practices
- Reinforce standards for workmanship and accountability
- Provide input on staffing and resource needs
Coordination & Communication
- Serve as the primary interface between field crews, superintendents, and vendors
- Participate in planning meetings and equipment coordination reviews
- Ensure materials, equipment, and tools are available when needed
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in mechanical/equipment installation, preferably in water or wastewater treatment
- Experience with rigging, setting, and aligning large process equipment
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, and submittals
- Familiarity with pumps, motors, valves, and treatment process equipment
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA safety standards (including rigging and confined space)
Requirements:
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must have reliable transportation to the job site
- Applicants will be subject to pre‐employment drug screen and background check
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites required.
- Ability to work overtime, travel overnight, and drive long distances as needed.
