Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a Stone Fabricator for a temp-to-hire position in Northbrook, IL starting ASAP.WEEKLY PAY -- LONG TERM & FULL TIME!PAY: $24-$32/hour (based upon experience)HOURS: Shifts will be 8-hour workdays, 5 days per week (40 hours/week)SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday-Friday; 6:00am – 3:00pmSTART DATE: ASAPDURATION: Temp-to-HireESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES· Ability to cut or shape stone according to drawings and/or templates.· Ability to hone and refinish polished faces on marble and granite.· Ability to perform all types of edge work.o Ability to do miters is a huge plus!· Ability to set up and work with router.· Ability to lay out and complete various types of bowl holes and cutouts.· Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings.· Maintain an efficient, clean and organized work area.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCEIdeally at least 3-5 years related experience and/or training.CERTIFICATE, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSNone.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe position will require the following physical activities on a regular basis; Stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, sitting, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, handling and repetitive motions.Additional Requirements:Must be eligible to work in the United StatesMust have reliable transportation to the job sitePre-employment drug screen and background check are requiredMust be able to safely use hand/power tools and PPEWE ARE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER!Hablamos Español!
