Maintenance Electrician – Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (OT and weekends as needed)
Pay Rate: $35–$40 per hour (Direct Hire Opportunity)

Summary
Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician for a direct hire opportunity in Hartland, WI. This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems on production machinery, building systems, and facility equipment. The ideal candidate will also support mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform electrical preventive and corrective maintenance on all plant and facility equipment
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues using testing tools and diagnostic methods
- Install, repair, and service industrial machinery, equipment, and support systems
- Maintain and support plant communications networks and related equipment
- Diagnose and repair motor controls, PLCs, transformers, servo drives, CNC systems, and robotics
- Install electrical wiring from power panels to equipment (240V, 400V, 480V systems)
- Ensure compliance with NEC standards when installing circuit conductors
- Perform mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs
- Replace, adjust, and calibrate electrical and control components to specifications
- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks
- Maintain accurate work orders and documentation using CMMS and Microsoft Office tools
- Ensure timely completion of repairs and communicate status updates to management
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
- Follow all safety, quality, and company policies
- Operate aerial lifts and ladders safely
- Collaborate with team members and cross-train as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
QualificationsEducation & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
- 5 years manufacturing maintenance electrical experience
- Journeyman-level electrician experience required - no license required
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Knowledge of AC/DC circuits and industrial electrical systems
- Experience with PLCs, CNCs, servo drives, and robotics
- Mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting ability
- Microsoft Office and CMMS experience
