Sign Production Specialist
Superior Signs is looking for an experienced Sign Fabrication to join our growing production team.
We manufacture custom commercial signage from the ground up, so this position is ideal for someone who enjoys building, fabricating, welding, and solving problems rather than doing the same repetitive work every day.
This is a hands-on shop position. We are looking for someone who knows how to work with metal, understands fabrication, can accurately measure and build, and takes pride in producing quality finished work.
Sign industry experience is not required. If you have a strong background in welding, sheet metal, structural fabrication, automotive fabrication, manufacturing, or similar work, we can teach you the sign-specific side of the business.
What You'll Be Doing
- MIG welding and general metal fabrication
- Cutting, bending, forming, drilling, and assembling aluminum and steel
- Working with sheet metal, tubing, angle, and other fabrication materials
- Building sign cabinets, frames, structures, and custom components
- Measuring, laying out, and cutting materials accurately
- Reading drawings, dimensions, specifications, and production plans
- Operating common fabrication and shop equipment
- Building custom projects where problem-solving is often required
- Working with our production and installation teams to complete projects
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Inspecting your own work and producing a clean, professional finished product
What We're Looking For
- Previous welding and metal fabrication experience is required
- Experience working with sheet metal and aluminum is strongly preferred
- Strong measuring, layout, and fabrication skills
- Ability to use common hand, power, and fabrication tools
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable figuring out how things are built
- Able to work from drawings, measurements, and specifications
- Dependable, productive, and able to work without constant supervision
- Willing to learn new fabrication methods and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Experience manufacturing signs, sign cabinets, channel letters, aluminum structures, or other custom commercial products is a major plus.

Pay: $22.00 - $31.00 per hour, based on experience and skill level
Expected Hours: 40 hours per week
