What are the responsibilities and job description for the Overnight Patrol Security Officer position at Superior Security Services?
Our company is looking for a Mobile Patrol Officer (Level 3 preferred) to join our team and patrol the city of Artesia NM. A patrol vehicle and all equipment will be provided with exception of a firearm. Please contact 575-308-3134 if interested. Thank you.
Responsibilities:
- Observes and reports incidents or suspicious activity to client representatives or company management.
- Entering all pertinent and necessary information into accountability software.
- Keeping the Patrol Division Supervisor informed of all problems, unique situations, etc. that occur on your shift.
- Respond to incidents regarding security and safety concerns.
- Ability to provide high-quality customer service at various social levels and across diverse cultures.
- Deter criminal activity and misconduct.
- Drive safely at all times and in all driving conditions.
- Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols (interior and/or exterior).
- Proper maintenance of the designated patrol vehicle, e.g. routine, scheduled preventive or corrective maintenance, vacuuming, car washes, etc.
Requirements:
- Stand or walk on a variety of surfaces for short periods of time.
- Have a neat and professional appearance.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess a valid NM driver’s license with a clean driving record of 3 years.
- Possess effective customer service skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English (both written and oral).
- Climb stairs, ramps
- Willing to work a flexible schedule.
- Be a high school graduate or have a GED.
- Have a military or law enforcement background (not required but preferred).
- Must be able to pass a full criminal and background check, and drug test.
