Painting will be your primary responsibility, with assembly tasks as a secondary role when needed. This position involves working on structural beams, columns, stairs, railings, and other structural metalworkNOT automotive painting.Key ResponsibilitiesArrive on time and ready to work each scheduled shift.Plan tasks efficiently and maintain a high level of productivity.Follow directions and work collaboratively as part of a team.Prepare materials to industry standards prior to painting.Apply industrial coatings to beams, columns, railings, carts, and other fabricated steel items.Maintain and clean paint equipment regularly.Label painted components for shipment.Assist with loading, unloading, and material handling using forklifts (handling material up to 40 in length).Perform grinding, sanding, and general weld cleanup as needed.Support assembly of fabricated components when painting tasks are complete.Ensure quality work with strong attention to detail throughout all tasks.QualificationsPrevious experience in industrial painting required; assembly experience is a plus.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.Knowledge of paint application techniques and safety standards.Forklift operation experience is a plus (training available if needed).Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.Schedule4-day workweek: MondayThursday, 10-hour shiftsBenefitsCompetitive Pay based on experience.Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance.401(k) with Company Match.Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays.
