Responsibilities
- Conduct regular pool cleaning including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and emptying skimmer baskets to maintain optimal water quality.
- Perform routine pool maintenance tasks such as water testing, chemical balancing, and adjusting pH levels to ensure safe swimming conditions.
- Inspect and troubleshoot pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators; perform repairs or coordinate replacements as needed.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to repair or replace faulty parts on pool systems efficiently.
- Maintain detailed records of service visits, chemical treatments, repairs, and maintenance schedules for each pool.
- Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities to ensure a secure work environment for yourself and clients.
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding service updates or issues needing attention to promote trust and satisfaction.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues with pool equipment quickly and accurately.
- Experience in equipment repair, troubleshooting, and performing preventive maintenance on various pool systems.
- Proficiency in pool maintenance tasks such as water testing, chemical balancing, cleaning, and filtration system upkeep.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools necessary for repairs and routine maintenance work.
- Service technician experience preferred; ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
