Position Overview
We are looking for a part-time HR Generalist with at least 5 years of experience, including hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and knowledgeable HR professional who can manage various HR responsibilities, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and policy development. A key responsibility will be collaborating with management to maintain and update our employee handbook to ensure it reflects current practices and complies with legal standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Manage the recruitment process from job posting to candidate selection using ADP Workforce Now.
- Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
- Employee Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns and issues.
- Mediate conflicts and facilitate resolution to maintain a positive work environment.
- Support initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Benefits Administration:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
- Provide support and guidance to employees regarding benefits-related questions and issues.
- Compliance and Policy Management:
- Ensure company HR policies comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Work with management to develop, update, and maintain the employee handbook.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure all documentation is current and compliant.
- Performance Management:
- Assist with performance management processes, including evaluations, feedback, and development plans.
- Offer guidance to managers on performance issues and improvement strategies.
- Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate the delivery of training programs.
- Facilitate workshops and seminars to promote employee growth and development.
- HR Reporting and Analytics:
- Prepare and analyze HR reports and metrics to track trends and inform decision-making.
- Utilize ADP and other HR systems for accurate data management and reporting.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role with significant experience using ADP.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Proficiency in ADP and HRIS systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with management.
