What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Counter / Customer Service (Hourly + Tips) position at Superior Pizza & Subs?
Job Summary
We're looking for a reliable, friendly, and hardworking team member to join our front counter staff. This is a tipped position with a fast paced work environment and a variety of responsibilites, including helping customers, handling transactions, preparing orders and assisting the kitchen.
We're looking for someone who wants a long-term position and is willing to stay with us through the winter and into our busy summer season.
What you'll do:
- Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service
- Take orders in person and over the phone
- Accurately enter orders and answer customer questions
- Cash customers out and process cash, credit/debit, and other transactions
- Properly handle and manage money
- Scoop & serve ice cream
- Work the cut table - cut pizzas, box orders, check orders for accuracy, and hand orders out to customers
- Prepare dressings & other food items
- Assist the kitchen with food prep when neccessary
- Keep the front counter, dining area, work areas and other areas of the restaurant clean and organized
- Complete opening and closing duties
- Follow food safety and cleanliness procedures
- Help wherever needed to keep the restaurant running smoothly
