About the Role
Superior Petroleum Equipment is hiring an Associate Field Service Technician to assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of fueling and related industrial equipment. This role is designed for an entry-level or early-career technician who is eager to learn the trade, develop their troubleshooting skills, and take ownership of job quality and safety. You will work closely with our experienced technicians, gaining hands-on experience to build a long-term career. We’re looking for someone who communicates clearly, has a solid mechanical foundation, and takes pride in their work.
What You’ll Do
- Assist in the installation, service, maintenance, and repair of fueling systems and related equipment.
- Learn to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and system-level issues alongside experienced technicians.
- Help perform inspections, testing, commissioning, and preventative maintenance.
- Communicate directly with internal team members and customers regarding job status.
- Ensure all work consistently meets safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Accurately complete service documentation, job reports, and time tracking.
- Help maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment to company standards.
What We’re Looking For
- 0–2 years of experience or technical schooling in mechanical, electrical, or industrial fields (a willingness to learn is key).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a basic understanding of electrical concepts.
- Basic computer/technical skills (can use email, software, phone apps, Microsoft Word).
- A professional communication style and a strong work ethic.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
