Fleet Analyst

The Fleet Analyst plays a key role in supporting daily trucking operations by monitoring fleet activity, analyzing performance data, and ensuring accurate reporting of driver and equipment usage.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize company tracking systems to maintain, monitor, and report on fleet activity and driver records.

• Administer and maintain the FleetWatcher Material Delivery Solutions (MDS) platform, ensuring accurate data entry and system integrity.

• Monitor real-time fleet activity and communicate issues, irregularities, or infractions to management in a timely manner.

• Create, verify, and export virtual shift tickets on a daily basis, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

• Analyze operational data and reports to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.

• Provide recommendations to management based on data analysis to support operational efficiency and equipment utilization.

• Translate fleet performance data into clear insights, including potential financial or productivity impacts.

• Collaborate with operations, dispatch, and management teams to support continuous process improvement initiatives.

• Maintain organized records and documentation related to fleet operations and reporting.

• Perform other duties as assigned in support of fleet and operational objectives.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Experience in trucking, logistics, construction, or fleet operations preferred.

• Familiarity with dispatch, GPS tracking, or fleet management systems preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word required.

• Ability to interpret data and communicate findings clearly.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Sound judgment, professionalism, and integrity in handling operational information.

• Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or evenings as operational needs require.

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
