We are seeking Instrumentation Technicians to join our team. Positions are available in Texas and based out of Odessa or Fort Worth, Texas.

Position Summary: The Instrument Technician provides hands-on support by directly being involved in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and instrumentation equipment and systems utilized throughout field and process plants. This role also ensures operational targets are met safely, environmentally compliant, and efficiently. The scope of equipment includes but is not limited to, low power distribution, instrumentation, industrial communication, and process control systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Installing, calibrating, testing, proving, troubleshooting, and maintenance of instrumentation, including pressure, and temperature transmitters, gas detectors, control valves, meters, and analyzers;
- Troubleshooting of electrical, instrumentation, and control equipment.
- Inspecting and testing the operation of instruments and systems to diagnose faults using pneumatic, electrical and electronic devices.
- Performing mechanical work associated with instrument repair and modification, including removing and installing small piping and tubing.
Qualifications:
- Proven technical skills, fault finding, and repairing complex electrical, instrumentation, and communication systems.
- Proven experience in control valve maintenance and repair.
- Certified training with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical valve actuators – a plus
- Knowledge of predictive maintenance activities for various instruments and equipment and the ability to develop and document accurate and thorough work procedures
