In this role, you'll work closely with suppliers, operations teams, and internal stakeholders to manage purchase orders, track deliveries, resolve discrepancies, and support inventory management. What You'll Do
- As our Purchasing Coordinator, you will:
- Create, process, and manage purchase orders for materials, supplies, and equipment
- Monitor order status and ensure on-time delivery of critical materials
- Communicate with vendors to resolve delays, shortages, pricing issues, and order discrepancies
- Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices while ensuring accuracy
- Maintain accurate purchasing records within our ERP system
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities
- Assist with supplier performance evaluations and vendor relationship management
- Support cost-control initiatives by identifying pricing discrepancies and purchasing opportunities
- Collaborate with warehouse, receiving, and operations teams to ensure smooth material flow
- Respond to internal requests regarding product availability, lead times, and order status
- Maintain vendor files and purchasing documentation
- Assist with monthly cycle counts and inventory discrepancy investigations
- Review overstock reports and work with management on inventory optimization efforts
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of purchasing, procurement, inventory, or related administrative experience
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
- Experience working with ERP systems such as Acumatica or similar purchasing software
- Knowledge of purchasing, procurement, and inventory management practices
