We're looking for an HR Generalist to join our team and support a broad range of HR functions, including recruiting, benefits administration, employee relations, onboarding, leaves of absence, and HR operations. You'll work closely with leadership and support employees and managers across a multi-state and Canadian workforce while gaining exposure to many areas of Human Resources.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
Full-Cycle Recruitment
- Manage the recruiting lifecycle from sourcing and screening candidates through offer coordination and onboarding
- Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and identify qualified candidates
- Support a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
Benefits & 401(k) Administration
- Serve as a key point of contact for employee benefits questions and support enrollment activities
- Assist with annual open enrollment and vendor coordination
- Support administration of the company's 401(k) plan and employee communications
HR Operations, Onboarding & Employee Support
- Coordinate onboarding activities, including I-9 verification and personnel file maintenance in partnership with the HR Administrator
- Support employee relations matters, manager coaching, and day-to-day HR inquiries
- Assist with employee engagement, recognition, and culture-building initiatives
Leaves of Absence & Compliance
- Coordinate leave administration activities with our third-party vendor (Guardian)
- Partner with managers and employees to support leave and return-to-work processes
- Assist with maintaining compliance with employment laws, policies, and HR best practices
Payroll Oversight & HRIS Support
- Provide backup support for multi-state payroll processes and assist with payroll audits
- Support HRIS data integrity and reporting within ADP Workforce Now
- Partner with the HR Administrator to ensure accurate employee records and payroll information
Process Improvement & HR Projects
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across HR processes and systems
- Assist with projects related to onboarding, compliance, employee engagement, and HR technology
- Participate in broader HR initiatives and special projects as needed
What We're Looking For
What You'll Need to Be Successful In This Role
- 3-5 years of HR experience, including at least 1-2 years in a Generalist or similar HR capacity
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment where not everything is fully built out yet
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
- Sound judgment and professionalism when handling employee relations matters
- Familiarity with multi-state employment practices and compliance requirements
What Will Help You Stand Out
- Experience supporting benefits administration and/or 401(k) plans
- Exposure to a multi-state workforce, with any experience supporting Canadian employees or employment law being a strong plus
- Experience working in a manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or multi-site environment
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as ADP Workforce Now
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar HR certification
- A proactive mindset and desire to learn and grow across multiple HR disciplines
