Key Responsibilities
A Painter is responsible for completing the following duties:
- Prepare metal surfaces for painting, including sanding, cleaning, masking, and verifying readiness for paint application.
- Mix and apply paint using proper techniques, equipment settings, and application procedures to ensure high-quality finishes.
- Perform regular maintenance on paint equipment and clean the paint booth, including changing filters and maintaining lighting.
- Inspect painted surfaces for quality issues such as runs or missed areas, and conduct visual and electronic mill testing.
- Organize and maintain the paint trailer and related work areas, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and proper documentation.
Shift
Monday through Friday, 6:30am to 5:00pm
